“The wolf on the hill is never as hungry as the wolf climbing the hill” - Arnold Schwarzenegger
Desire is something we often overlook when it comes to success, people talk about hard work, sacrifice, all of that, but desire, desire can change the game.
The person who has a strong enough desire, will almost always come out on top, with enough desire, with enough drive, with enough hunger, you can see the end result so strongly, that no matter what happens you’ll be able to push through
And that kind of desire is only born, from being unsatisfied with what you’ve currently got, the only way to move from one level to another level is when the level you’re trying to get to, is better then the level you’re currently on
That’s why the wolf climbing the hill is hungrier, because where he’s trying to get to is better than where he is, he’s not satisfied with where he is.
And this is why you need a never satisfied mentality, it is one of the only ways to consistently be leveling up. If you’re satisfied with where you’re at, there’s no desire to go up any higher, and without that desire, you’re going to stay exactly where you are.
So if you want to be the best of the best, if you want to be the greatest, you have to never be satisfied, you must keep that desire alive, always.
